Q. How can I use Google to find scholarly articles?

To find scholarly articles using Google, use Google Scholar. You can use the link from the CSUDH Library databases and be sure to modify your Google Scholar settings to sync up with library resources. Connecting yourself to the CSUDH Library will help avoid paying for resources. Watch this short video or use the step by step directions below.

To modify your Google Scholar settings, click the gear icon at the top of the search page. Select "Library Links" on the left-hand side of the page and search for CSUDH.

When you find an article click the "Full Text at CSUDH Lib" link on that right. This will link you to our full-text.

If we don't have the full text you'll see an option under "More" called "Not owned by CSUDH Lib" that will link you to our interlibrary loan services.
