Q. Is there someone in the library who can help me look for sources for my paper?

I'm looking for research help, not writing help.

Yes! There are many ways to find help from someone in the library with selecting resources.

In person: Stop by the Info & Research Help Desk, located on the 2nd floor of Library South, across from the computer lab. You'll find a research assistant there during our operating hours. Librarians are also available to help you during certain weekday hours. During the regular semester, they're available on call at the Research Help Desk from 8am-6pm Mondays through Thursdays, and from 11am to 4pm on Fridays. (In some libraries, this is called the "reference desk".)

Online: Start a chat from anywhere on the library's website with a librarian or research assistant, available during all of our operating hours.

By appointment: If you need more in-depth assistance, consider scheduling a 30-minute or 60-minute research appointment with a librarian. Librarians can meet with you in person or via Zoom webconferencing. To make an appointment, visit the appointment scheduling website: https://libcal.csudh.edu/appointments?lid=546&g=88
