I have the full citation for a scholarly article, how can I find it online?

Answer

The easiest way to find an article if you know the title is to type it or copy-paste it into OneSearch on the library website. Be sure to put in the title exactly as appears. Then choose the tab for "Articles" in the results list. Nearly everything we own can be found through that search box.

You can also search for the journal the article appears in by using "Journals & Magazines A-Z" on the library home page. When you search for the journal, if we own it you will be directed to a database that you can access it through. From there you can typically navigate the journal by year, volume, and issue number to find the exact one you are looking for. In the Example below, the article was written in 1983, and is Volume number 41, Issue No. 3, pages 449-450.

If you search the main search box, and Journals We Own, and we do not have the article, you can try Google Scholar or request by searching on OneSearch. Find out more about interlibrary loans here.
