Does the library have my textbook?

Answer

Maybe! The library has some textbooks and other course materials online or at the Course Reserves Desk.

If you're not sure if the library has your textbook, search for the title of your textbook or the ISBN in OneSearch to see if it's available as an ebook or in the library.

If your textbook is on reserve, change the drop menu on the library's homepage from OneSearch to Course Reserves (CSUDH):

Course Reserves (CSUDH) Search for textbooks on reserve in the library

You can search for course reserves by book title, professor name, or course details.

Check that it's available, then make a note of the call number (e.g. LA 212.G65 2014) or course reserve information (RAMSER / ENG 110 / NGUYEN) and ask for it at the Course Reserves Desk on the main floor of the library near the entrance. Course reserves are available to borrow for a limited loan period (usually 2 or 4 hours), and may also be available online to read as an ebook.
