Q. How do I cite in ASA format?

Answer

The American Sociological Association (ASA) has its own citation style for sociology. See our ASA Citation Guide for quick tips.

Databases owned by ProQuest, such as Sociological Abstracts, will provide a pre-made ASA citation for you.

OneSearch and EBSCO owned databases do not have ASA as an option, however, you can use the MLA option and then rearrange it to quickly generate an ASA citation.
