Q. Where can I study in the Library?

Answer

The Library has a variety of different study spaces available for you to study, create, and collaborate!

Check out group study rooms from the Technology Checkout Program office, located on the 2nd floor of the south building. There are open seating areas on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the south building.

Please keep in mind that the 4th floor is designated as silent study space. You may be asked to move to a non-silent floor or a group study room if you engage in conversation on this floor of the library.

NEW: For finals week for Fall 2018 semester, we are opening the 5th floor of the south building for study! As with all other areas within the Library's south building, this is a food-free zone, and all drinks must have lids to avoid spills. It will also be designated as quiet, though not entirely silent, study space. Please respect your fellow students and follow the Code of Conduct as posted on the Library's website. The 5th Floor South will have floor monitors stationed in the space to circulate and ensure that Library policies are being followed appropriately.
