How do I find primary and secondary legal sources?

Answer

Try a search in WestLaw using keywords or a legal citation. Then, use the filters on the left to sort your results by legal source types (e.g. cases, statues, secondary sources).

Secondary sources typically include journal articles that summarize and analyze legal issues.

You can also find case law in Google Scholar
