Step-by-step guide to log on to SciFinder:

From the Library Home page: Step 1: Click on Article Database on the Library Home page.

Step 1: Click on the "Article Databases" link on the Library's homepage.

From the next pop-up page: Step 2: Click on "S" from the alphabetical list.Step 2: Click on "S" to filter to databases beginning with S to limit to SciFinder.

The following screen capture says: Step 3: - CSUDH account can not be used to access SciFinder. - If you are a returning user, always use the registered SciFinder account to access SciFinder. - If you are a 1st time user, click "Register for an account" to create an account. Then, use this account to log on to SciFinder. - (You will be asked to log on using your MyCSUDH account before the "Register for an account").

Step 3: Click on SciFinder and log in with your registered account. You cannot log in with your CSUDH username and password. Click on "Register for a SciFinder account" if you are a first-time user of SciFinder. You may be prompted to enter your CSUDH username and password when clicking on any of these links.
