How to Convert Print to MP3 - Text to Speech?
There are several options to convert PRINT to digital/speech (MP3):
If you have a PRINT document:
Option1: (easiest) Use your phone to scan and convert Print to PDF:
- Download FastScanner App to your phone. Fast Scanner App is free and very easy to use.
- Save the converted PDF file to your computer.
- Use the SensusAccess to convert the file to MP3 at this URL: https://libguides.csudh.edu/study/text-speech
Option 2: If you have a scanner, or if you can find a scanner to use:
You can scan your PRINT to a digital file, and then, save the file onto your computer. Next, use the SensusAccess to convert from digital to MP3 at this URL: https://libguides.csudh.edu/study/text-speech
If you don't have a scanner, you can use the scanners & Kurzweil3000 to make the conversion. The scanners & Kurzweil3000 machines are located in the Library Assistive Tech Room on the 2nd floor, also in the Campus Computer Lab, LIB 1223.
