How to Convert Print to MP3 - Text to Speech?

There are several options to convert PRINT to digital/speech (MP3):
Option1: (easiest) Use your phone to scan and convert Print to PDF:
- Download FastScanner App to your phone. Fast Scanner App is free and very easy to use.
- Open the Fast Scanner App and scan the document page by page. The Apps auto saves the document as a PDF file. Then, email the converted PDF file to yourself. Next, open and save the file to your local computer.
- You can choose to use Kurzweil3000 (subscription/web) to convert from digital files to MP3 or other TTS tools to convert.
Option 2: If you have a scanner, or if you can find a scanner to use:
You can scan your PRINT to a digital file, and then, save the file onto your computer. Choose to use one of the TTS tools to convert from Print to MP3.
Option 3:
If you don't have a scanner, you can use the scanners & Kurzweil3000 to make the conversion. The scanners & Kurzweil3000 machines are located in the Library Assistive Tech Room on the 2nd floor, also in the Campus Computer Lab, LIB 1223.
